All too often I hear horror stories of people that put all this effort into creating a blog, posting content and the only person that sees it is the person and their family. Sound familiar?

Getting a blog set up can be extremely easy. There are point and click solutions like Blogger or WordPress.com. With my partner we opened our own free blog service, My CC Blog.

You can add a blog to your domain through Fantastico with most cpanel servers in 5 minutes or less. All these things make starting a blog really, really easy.

Once they are set up almost all of them have a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor that makes it extremely easy to add content. Compared to creating a website creating a blog is super simple.

All of those things make it so that anyone can create a blog. No hard to learn skills needed.

Now to the part that makes people quit blogging every day - no traffic.

Getting Targeted Traffic

As easy as it is to get a blog up and add content,  the blog is worthless if no one reads what you write. You need to get targeted traffic to your blog if you want to make sales.

The thing is you don't need thousands of visitors to make your blog quite profitable. (As long as they are targeted and nothing draws targeted traffic better than blog.)

Why should you listen to me

Besides being an old bald guy, I have been blogging for over four years. I generate traffic to each of my blogs that is targeted and more importantly generate sales for me almost every day.

I have spent the last two years through trial and error discovering which things were worth the effort and which ones were not. Now I have created a step by step system for my set up and see consistent results no matter what niche I am working in.

Quite a few of my blog posts end up on the first page of Google for the product I am promoting and it can happen in as little as two hours from the time I post.

Well, I generate visitors to my blogs to the tune of thousands of visitors a day. But all of these blogs are established and would not prove out the quality of this information for you. After all if you are just starting, showing you stats from blogs that have been going for 3 years or more wouldn't be realistic.

To overcome this I created a brand new blog on December 12, 2007. The first post was made the same day. Now less than a month later this blog is averaging over 50 visitors a day.

To be clear - This blog is not:

• Linked to any of my main blogs
• Had any paid advertising sent to it
• Or had people sent there from my email lists
• Just used the techniques in 15 Minute Blog Traffic

Is it hard to do?

Absolutely not but it does take a bit of effort. There are a few things you need to set up and do just ONCE. You will need to spend about 3 extra minutes each time you post after that.

Add in a few other free services and another 10 minutes a day and you can add additional traffic bit by bit.

This will constantly increase the flow of traffic to your blog.

This will take a bit of consistent effort but it will multiply many times over sending you an ongoing stream of traffic.

Why I created it

I help people get their blogs set up and running either through my installation service or one of the courses I sell. The problem was that this addressed the technical side of setting up a blog but my customers asked for ways to get traffic.

Initially this was only going to be for my best customers and for those I offer a personalized coaching course with direct access to me.

A good friend of mine wanted to get his new blog started and suggested that we record it. We walked through everything that I do initially on my new blogs to get the traffic going.

I will also need testimonials when I raise the price. Getting this in as many people's hands as possible is important to me.
